Pedro del Hierro, official partner of the Royal Spanish Football Federation and the brand chosen to dress the reigning World Cup champions, has selected the best of a very large bunch of fan’s motivational messages to be sewn into the lining of the official suit jacket which the National Coach, Vicente del Bosque, will take with him to the FIFA World Cup in Brazil 2014.
Shared with more than a million followers through social networks, the brand’s initiative has prompted a huge response with thousands of messages wishing the team the best for a second World Cup victory. “Reach for our second Star”, “If you close your eyes, you will hear all of Spain cheering for you’, “Remember that our dream is your glory” are among the 23 messages chosen to accompany the National Coach of this world-beating team to all the World Cup games.
On presenting the suit to Vicente del Bosque in the Rozas Football City, Ignacio Sierra, Grupo Cortefiel’s Corporate Director General, turned to the National Coach and said: “Thanks to the love of the fans and to Pedro Del Hierro, you will be able to look inside this jacket when you are in the midst of the challenge, and feel your country’s encouragement as you carry Spain in your heart - and in your lining”. He added: “We are honoured to dress the best team in the world and to represent a sector which Spain can also lead”.
The official suit includes a new tie in signature red, in tribute to the national team, and the new coat of arms embroidered in gold.

Pedro del Hierro, part of Grupo Cortefiel since 1992, was founded in Madrid in 1880 and is a leading European fashion retailer. The Group has a network of 1964 points of sale and is present in more than 70 countries through its four brands: Cortefiel, Pedro del Hierro, Springfield and Women’secret.
